2026 Chevrolet Trax — from $26,699

The Trax is the most affordable entry point into the GM lineup in Canada, with the full trim range priced from roughly $26,699 to $29,899. Every Trax pairs a 1.2L turbocharged ECOTEC three-cylinder with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive.

Why buyers love it: Standard Chevy Safety Assist (six driver-assistance features including Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a surprising amount of interior room for the price. The EV option: 2027 Chevrolet Bolt — from $43,470 all-in ($39,999 MSRP)

The Bolt is back — and it’s Canada’s lowest-priced EV with over 400 km of estimated range. The LT starts at $43,470 all-in (that figure includes freight, A/C charge, and dealer fees), with the sportier RS from $46,070.
