Updated Exterior Style Features

The 2022 Terrain picks up several new front-end revisions, including a new fascia and grille designs across the entire trim ladder. Also, GMC is really leaning into the LED technology for the crossover SUV’s headlights, taillights, and signature daytime running lights. For what it’s worth, independent online reviews have praised the 2022 GMC Terrain for its passenger-friendly interior that is also outfitted with some of the most refined features in its class.

What is Available with the 2022 Terrain AT4?

GMC has been adding its AT4 trim grade to several of its existing platforms. The Terrain finally gets its turn in 2022. Like other vehicles, the Terrain AT4 takes a more off-road focus than the rest of the SUV’s trim grades. The latest trim added to the Terrain lineup includes:

  • Standard all-wheel-drive
  • Off-road-themed accents
  • Front steel skid plate
  • Available Tech Package

The 2022 GMC Terrain AT4 joins the rest of the crossover SUV’s menu with standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. Alexa Built-In is also equipped on every 2022 Terrain trim.

2022 Terrain Cargo Space

Crossover SUVs are available in a lot of shapes and sizes. The 2022 GMC Terrain is a small crossover SUV platform that uses its unique geometry very efficiently. When the Terrain is holding rear passengers, there will be 838 litres (29.6 cu.-ft.) of cargo volume to use. Folding the backseat down will make 1,792 litres (63.3 cu.-ft.) available to haul cargo. Additionally, the front passenger seat can be folded down to accommodate long items and increase the total available cargo volume to 2,293 litres (81 cu.-ft.).
