What’s new for the 2022 Chevy Tahoe or Suburban?

Chevrolet has continued to pour resources into the development of these vehicles, and when the two new models arrive at our showroom, people will instantly appreciate the upgrades. So, what is new for the 2022 Chevy Tahoe or Suburban? Future owners of the 2022 Tahoe or Suburban will find more trim grades equipped with the top engine option and a newly available electric limited-slip differential. Let’s take a look at what else we can expect to see when these leaders in the SUV class go on sale at Budds’ Chevy.

New Google Digital Assistant Technology
Chevy has never been shy about equipping the Tahoe and Suburban with the latest technology available. Both 2022 models will come with a special kind of Google compatibility that will expand the commands people can use to operate several functions like:
- Phone calls and text messaging
- Adjust audio volume
- Change radio stations and SiriusXM
- Manipulate Google Maps
- Adjust the climate controls
Using the new voice-activated commands will leave either vehicle’s touchscreen free to employ apps from Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ without interruption.
2022 Suburban/Tahoe Engine Options
Budds’ Chevy customers will be able to choose among three different engine options. A naturally aspirated 5.3-litre, V-8 will be standard on the LS, LT, Z71, RST and Premier models. Buyers can add the Duramax turbocharged 3.0-litre diesel engine to any trim, except for the Z71. The top-of-the-line 6.2-litre, V-8 can be found on the RST, Z71 and Premier models as an available upgrade. All High Country trims use the top engine.
