Winter Driving Tips from GM’s Certified Service
GM’s Certified Service answers all your questions about safe winter driving… in an informative and entertaining way! Check out the quick videos below and stay safe this winter:
Get your battery tested this winter:
At negative 15 degrees Celcius, battery output is reduced to half its usual power. So if you don’t have enough juice left, you could be stuck. Get your battery checked and avoid the risk of getting stuck in the cold!
Get a set of winter tires:
Consider winter wiper blades:
Winter wiper blades have a rubber or vinyl wrapping which block ice and snow from entering the arms of the blade. This means better flexibility, and less ice build-up and streaks. Much safer for winter driving.
Have your brakes checked:
You don’t want to be sliding around more than necessary this winter. Have your brakes checked to make sure they are in optimal condition for winter driving.
